World Intellectual Property Day Essay Competition

As part of efforts to celebrate the WIPO Day on the 26th April, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Nigeria Office has called for entries into the year’s Intellectual Property Essay Competition.

The competition is geared at encouraging conversations on how innovation affects our climate system. The essay topic, themed around the 2020 WIPO Day theme, is “Making innovation work for a green future in Nigeria”

Entries should be no longer than 1,500 words and should be submitted to nigeria.office@wipo.int on or before midnight, May 26, 2020 with the subject title: Initial.Surname_WIPD Essay competition.

The competition is open to all registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The Winning Author will be awarded a scholarship by the WIPO Academy to study at the WIPO Summer School in South Africa. The top 3 and top 10 entries also get special WIPO packages and other professional prizes respectively. See more in the attached images
