DR. A. C. B. AGBAZUERE NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS MOOT & MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION
In an effort geared towards contributing to the growth and development of legal education and the legal profession in Nigeria, The Legal Issues (TLI), in collaboration with the Abia State University Students Bar Council introduces the maiden edition of the “DR. A. C. B AGBAZUERE NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS MOOT & MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION.”
THE LEGAL ISSUES (TLI) is a career hub for lawyers and law students in Nigeria & Africa with a bid to reveal a host of opportunities in law, beyond the conventional classroom system.
Over the past two (2) years, the organization has continued to evolve within, and adapt to the ever changing media landscape both in Nigeria and on a global scale.
THE LEGAL ISSUES has built a reputable brand and has been ranked as one of the most integrity-driven organizations in Nigeria by major online platforms such as; ThisDay, Punch, Agora Tv News, TheNigeriaLawyers (TNL), BarristerNG, among others.
This competition aims to discover and nurture the hidden talents among law students and tertiary institutions here in Nigeria, whom we can always have confidence in, especially during representations at the international level as the contest aims at promoting reading culture.
The Competition is scheduled to hold as follows:
0.1 The competition commences in earnest on 7 April, 2021 and would be organized amongst various law faculties in Nigeria.
0.2 The competition is slated to hold in three (3) stages; the first stage is the Judgment writing, the second stage is the submission of memorials or briefs of argument on the facts to be presented and the third stage is the actual mock which will be graced with awards and other opportunities for participants.
