As humans, we are bestowed with an inherent ability to think, create and modify ideas. These ideas could be expressed in artistic, literary, or musical works. However, there are instances wherein these works/ideas are plagiarised. This work analyzes the meaning of plagiarism, the laws regulating music plagiarism in Nigeria,  the various forms of music plagiarism, and thus, proffer solutions.
